The IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a one-of-a-kind addiction treatment facility specializing in PTSD for IAFF members β and IAFF members only β who are struggling with addiction, PTSD other related behavioral health challenges to receive the help they need in taking the first steps toward recovery. It is a safe haven for members to talk with other members who have faced or overcome similar challenges.
57 members strong and proudly serving the residents and visitors of Union Township out of 6 stations.
Our members are dual trained Firefighter/Paramedics who respond to an average call volume of 8000 – 9000 Fire/EMS incidents per year.Β All of our members are trained and certified in many Specialized fields: Ohio State Certified Fire Safety Inspector, HAZMAT Technician Level.Β Along with several members who currently hold certifications in Ohio State Certified Fire and EMS Instructor, Ohio State Certified Arson Investigator, BLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor, Water and Ice Rescue, and USAR, just to name a few…..
